Practise*10

This car is just so gorgeous.
A few days experimenting with camera angles, materials and light. Doing my best to push realism and photographic qualities by studying work from people that I really admire (Johäll, Bakke, Nivalle).

Creating imagery that stands out is HARD. Finding that extra 2-3% that makes it feel real is HARD. But who goes to the gym to lift easy, light weights? No muscles are built from that. Practise should be hard and challenging, with many "repeat to failure" to really trigger those fibers to grow.

Same goes here. Don't be afraid of not reaching your goals. I'm afraid of the day I stop trying.

Keep on dreaming!

Just having a good time. Practise, practise, practise.

Full 3D, no AI and minimal post work.

Which renderer do you prefer?

I’m just curious to which render engine people use?!
I’m a long time Fstorm-user and really like how easy and fast it is. But it has some limitations.

What do you use and why?
Which feature do you like the most?

One more.

Had to do one more in the same scene, just added a new groundplane with some big noise and some grass. 4 renderings comped together to get the right light and atmosphere.

A tribute to a beautiful car!

I think the new Vanquish has some really interesting surfaces and just find it very inspiring. So while waiting for feedback from on another CGI job, I did these images in 3DS Max. They are full 3D without any AI. Just as a tribute to a great looking car.

Hope you find them inspiring!

Room for improvement!

Hi!

Not really focused on architecture, but uits still plays a vital role for the images.
A little tribute to a very beautiful car.

There is always room for improvement and polish, so what makes your eyes "itch" here?

- Scene layout & assembly in Max.
- Rendered with Fstorm.
- Vegetation from Maxtree.
- Car model from Turboquid.
- My own architecture.
- Carpaint from scratch.
- Lit with HDRIs from Polyhaven.
- Ground textures from Megascan.
- Proprietary LUTs.
- Minimal post.

15min/frame at 5k with 5090.

Aston Martin Vanquish

Hi!

Just practising my rendering, camera and material-skills. The car is from Turbosquid, most vegetation from Maxtree and the rest is my own. Spent most of the time on light and materials. The car paint was fun but tricky.

Rendered with Fstorm as usual, about 15 min frame/7000 samples at 5k.

All feedback and critique is most welcome.

My production-setup endgame

This is just a perfect setup for my daily needs. I spend my days in Unreal and Max.
The Dell U4025qw + Benq 27” 4k is such a nice couple.
My old second 27” recently starting acting up on me, so out it went and in came the Dell. Couldn’t be happier, it works so good. The Ultrasharp U4025qw has the perfect size and curve. Everything looks so good on it.
I never play games so I didn’t care about that aspect.

BRUTEBOY Pre-launch help!

Hi everyone!

I'm working on my pre-launch page and could really use your help! There is just so much to take into consideration when creating this page and I'm starting to get "blind" to my own work and mistakes.

I've made my best to keep it tidy, informative and with a clear hook, but I still don't feel very confident in the design.

So if I could "borrow" your eyes and critical perspective, it would be very helpful. I'm a big boy so I can take honest feedback, as long as it´s constructive ;)

I really appreciate your input!

Which service provider for ads?

HI!

I'm looking to buy ad's for my project but I don't know which company to go with. There are so many scams and bad services around, already been contacted by a few of them....

Who would you recommend? My project is about selling STLs for 3D-printing ( Mecha model-kit).

Thanks!

Bruteboy Mecha Model-kit build video!

I just finished the production of my Kickstarter-video! It was alot of hard work and took me about 3 month to complete. Hope you like it!
It was my first time creating a video like this, so it took some effort but it was really super-fun!
