My husband was in the bathroom and passed out while he was standing up and cracked his head on the sink and somehow hurt his foot when he fell. He had no clue how it happened and woke up in blood from his head. He said his foot was killing him way more than the huge gash on his head. We went to the emergency room where he got stitches on his head and got an X-ray on his foot which was really swollen. We were really hoping it was just a sprain but the doctor came back telling us it’s a homolateral lisfranc fracture which is the worst that you can get and now he needs surgery which I was hoping he didn’t need, but he wasn’t hopeful and knew he needed it because of how much pain he’s in. His doctor said he will most likely be able to drive within 9 weeks which is good to hear (I had my license for years but barely driven since so time for driving lessons for a refresher 😩). Has anyone had these weird freak accidents happen to them? We both have no idea how he got such a bad fracture from passing out in the bathroom. Of course we’re very thankful it wasn’t anything worst but it’s just really crazy that it happened.

And it was glorious! I was feeling nauseous when I got home from work because I was hungry and didn’t know what to eat. Nothing in my house sounded good so I ordered a Big Mac meal with a Dr. Pepper and chocolate chip cookies (they’re so good when they’re warm!) and it hit the spot and felt better instantly. Just wanted to share lol

I went out down the shore this past weekend for Memorial Day weekend and didn’t know it was my last hoorah because I found out I was pregnant on Monday. I’ll be down there a lot this summer and will be back down there in a few weeks and I’m freaking out on how to hide it until I go for my ultrasound because my friends know I drink corona lights and stateside seltzers so I know it will throw them off seeing me drink a “mixed drink” which will most likely be soda or a Shirley temple. Is there any canned mocktails that don’t taste terrible?

Me and my husband have been trying for about a year now and I just took a test and it was positive. I’m freaking out right now. My period was supposed to start this past Saturday and I started bleeding thinking it was the start of my period and it stopped yesterday. Something told me to take a test and I was ready to be disappointed of another negative and the lines showed up right away. I don’t know how to feel right now, I’m literally shaking as I’m typing this.
