Without looking, can you guys name the three different title options for the apocalypse porno Rafi and Dirty Randy were gonna shoot at Andre’s/Deion’s apt?

Every so often as a brain exercise I will try remember what Rafi thought the name was, what Dirty Randy thought the name was, then what the actress thought the name was. They’re all just slightly different

The Lakers sale segment is why Bill is so great

This sub (and social media at large) shits on Bill a lot, so time to give him some credit. He went nearly 30 minutes solo no cuts on the Lakers sale and it was absolutely captivating.

He looked at it from a ‘bunch of different ways’, broke it down with interesting tidbits, had a ton of historical knowledge and insights and background on the people involved and data on this sale and many other sales. I genuinely learned a lot and was interested - it was exactly what I needed for a midnight bottle feed with my newborn. Thanks Bill

Any reason to connect my old Denon AVR-3802 (from 2002) to my new Marantz NR1200?

Would this give more power or be better for my speakers in any way? To use the Denon as the receiver and Marantz as pre-amp? Marantz on its own has sounded great but just wondering. Mainly just use my setup for music, not TV

What quotes are in the hall of fame for “lines from comedy movies that got so overused in public that they not only became unfunny but actively annoying”?

Off the top of my head here are some:

  • “I just threw up in my mouth a little bit” - Dodgeball
  • “Did we just become best friends?!” - Step Brothers (quite frankly a lot from Step Brothers)
  • “I’m in a glass case of emotion!” - Anchorman (quite frankly a lot of Will Ferrell)
  • “Chicka-chicka-yeaaa” - Superbad
  • The Wilson Phillips song from Bridesmaids

Shockingly, “slappa da bass” has done a full 180 from being immediately overused to now super funny again because I Love You, Man hardly gets talked about nowadays.

And to be clear I still love all these movies. Just not these quotes. What are some more?

What’s the next highest priority in my setup?

I currently have:

  • a Rega R1 turntable
  • a Denon AVR-3802 receiver (probably 20+ years old)
  • KEF Q1 bookshelf speakers as my fronts
  • Klipsch R-40 bookshelf as my rears

What’s the one next most important thing I can get to upgrade my system? A center speaker? Sub? Floor speakers instead of bookshelf? Amp to enhance the receiver? Thanks in advance!

EDIT: music is the main priority for my setup.
