i was in the car with a friend yesterday and she has a rather fancy car with an amazing sound system, shes not a bts fan but she knows i am. i put swim in the playlist we were listening to and put it on fulll volume and man the eargasm 😭 it soinded SO GOOOOD. i was like this song is so stunning.. a masterpiece.

saw this post and its quote of wow it's so wonderful to see them not only touring but also experiencing the world now, fully immersing themselves in the cities they visit, exploring and enjoying as they wish. what used to be extraordinary for them is slowly becoming normal, and i hope that they continue to stay safe and protected. this is also another reason why we should always respect their privacy and give them space during their personal time.
Please watch Namjoon's weverse live and read the translations of everything he talked about, even if it's not about your bias. There are some lives that give you more understanding of them than an entire memories or documentaries. And this is one of them.

Some Highlights in chronical order:
🐨When Jin-hyung had finished enlistment, when I played the sax, we were all in a tough place. We met up at Jimin's place and we were still soldiers so we were having a tough time and we were all crying and they asked me to do my best to take hold of / lead the team.
🐨So how do we bring all of these together? (songs, setlist) In the old days, I (usually me) or Yoongi-hyung would bring us forward, but now all of the members (and this is our strength) but all of us want to protect our great and precious relationship and so we're careful.
So if someone doesn't like something, we respect that. But then the problem is that it's hard to made decisions.
🐨At first, we weren't going to have Swim be our title track. We wanted something more powerful and energetic. But BTS was coming back and what should be our title track? Everything each of us said could be the right answer and also not the right answer. Some ppl would want Dynamite and some ppl would want something like ON or something like Hooligan that just came out. Some ppl might say, no BTS should do something like this, like Spring Day. We did so many genres in our years so, so everyone's preferences were different. Our fans could feel differently from each other and our members could feel differently and various departments could feel differently. It was too hard to get consensus.
🐨 We are doing concerts and a tour again. And of course, this or that might have something we wished were different, and we all have something we wish were different. But we, with not one person leaving the group, not one person hurt, not one person taking a day off, are doing it safely.
🐨 As I'm not a native English speaker, I worked with songwriters from the US because there were parts I wanted to make sure would work well. Body To Body was originally called Body On Body and it was very sexual. Sort of "I need some body on body", I think you get the idea. It was a sexual song and we could do a sexual song, why not, we're 30yrs old. But we also didn't want to do a song that was sexual for no reason. So we thought of Hand To Hand, the song by Koreana from 1988 Olympics, and we changed it to Body To Body. We wanted an anthem like that.
