World Cup Game - Commute/Parking recommendations?

Hi - some friends and I are going to the Brazil vs. Haiti game on June 19. We will be staying around the Grays Ferry area. Any recommendations on how to get to the game? Is it better to get over the stadium through public transportation or to drive?

If public transportation - what is the best way to get there?

If it is to drive - uber or using our own car? Any parking spot recommendations?

Thank you!

Omakase reccs - Which is your favorite between Fuku, Korami, Shinn West or Sushi Blossoms?

Hi! My husband's birthday is coming up and since sushi is his favorite food, I would love to take him to a good Omakase.
We are saving money for some future projects so unfortunately I can't spend much right now.

Based on some previous posts on this group, I am between Fuku, Korami, Shinn West or Sushi Blossoms. He does not have any restrictions and I would love for him to have a memorable experience.
Between these options, which one is your favorite? Any of them you do not recommend?

Thanks!

My husband and I are in the process of buying our first home in NJ and recently received a mortgage rate proposal of 6.2%. We’re wondering if anyone has gotten better rates recently and where.
Specifically curious about:
• Local NJ banks or credit unions that offered competitive rates
• Any lenders you’d recommend (or avoid) based on your experience
• Whether it’s worth shopping around beyond the big national lenders
Would love any leads. happy to DM if you’d rather not post publicly. Thanks in advance!

I’m sharing this because I struggled to find stories from people studying while working. Many say you must take time off to pass, which wasn’t an option for me, but it worked out.

Because I kept working, I could afford more prep resources, which I believe helped my score. I used Barbri, Goat, UWorld, Critical Pass flashcards, and JD Advising One Sheets.

I started studying in early October. On weekdays, I studied 2 - 4 hours per night. On weekends, I started around 8 - 9am, took long breaks for meals, and studied as long as I could still retain information, usually stopping between 8 - 10pm. I never went to bed later than 11pm.

I studied whenever possible: MCQs during my commute, and Bar Exam Toolbox while showering, doing chores, or walking my dog.

I took very few rest days, one on Thanksgiving and two around the holidays. I focused on avoiding burnout since I needed to stay functional at work. If I was too tired, I stopped, rested, and called it a day if needed.

I didn’t rigidly follow Barbri if something wasn’t working for me. I completed 97% of the course, did all essays, and watched all lectures at normal speed, actively taking notes and highlighting. I used Goat to create my own outlines.

In the last two weeks, I focused on reviewing Critical Pass and JD Advising sheets, making my own flashcards, and doing about 60 practice questions per day up until the exam. I also reviewed all Goat's tricks and tips modules.

I have to say that working during bar prep was actually a positive. It helped me feel less isolated and remember life existed outside the bar. It also helped that my job didn’t depend on passing.

I hope this helps others in a similar position. Happy to answer questions, and yes, you too shall pass!
