The ones with unlimited chips & salsa, a half way decent margarita, and some chimichangas that are so deep fried you can’t taste the flavour anymore. You know the one - it’s not good enough for your in-laws but you go there on a Tuesday because you don’t feel like cooking ? We’re feeding an army of 4 hungry kids.
What's the take on starting my own side business while working in Canada on a closed work permit? This would be in addition to my primary employment, working a few hours during the nights & weekends investing in a second revenue stream for our family. If it helps, the current idea for this business is generally "creative artist" making and selling things on Etsy.
The dreaded streetcar diversion, we've all memorized it, or some version of it: South on Bathurst, West on Dundas, North on Ossington, West on College...
But here's my question - There are streetcar / bus stops on Bathurst and Ossington. What's the official take on streetcars stopping at these? The streetcars announce that an upcoming stop is happening, but if you request the stop, it's hit or miss. Sometimes the drivers just keep on going until they get closer to the next major intersection, sometimes they stop. Are these minor stops on a diverted route supposed to be skipped? Serviced? Is it up to the discretion of the driver?
I'm in Canada on a Work Visa. I've been working for a few months. When is the right time to submit an express entry profile? Should I wait for 1 year of experience? I sent in the application and received an immediate "Not eligible for any category" with four "No" answers listed under the various program criteria. I was under the (seemingly wrong) idea that I could submit my Express Entry profile, and as my situation changed (more work experience, language tests, etc.) I could update the profile. It seems the IRCC outright rejected it.
