I've been considering getting the Music Nomad Grip Winder.

But recently I found out about the existence of ratcheting screwdrivers. Music Nomad sells a 1/4" hex bit for pegwinding. That and a ratcheting screwdriver come to about the same price as the pegwinder, and I already have a set of 32 screwdriver bits that I could use with it too.

Has anyone tried something like this? How does it compare to a standard pegwinder in terms of effort and time?

Does anyone here have any experience with musicianscart.com? I'm looking for a DiMarzio Cliplock strap, they seem to be the only ones that have it.

I accidentally caused their servers to go down for a good few weeks a month or two ago just by refreshing the page while it was still loading. So I'm feeling a little doubtful about their legitimacy.

As far as I can tell they don't have cash on delivery, otherwise I would just go for it.

I have caps lock bound to hyper/mod2 (X11). Is it possible to use that key as a modifier in keybindings?
