Spooktober Gaming + Horror Giveaways!
This is my first time hosting a gaming giveaway and I’m actually really excited for this! I love video games a lot, and since Spooktober is almost here, I thought this would be a fun time to organize some events and give away a couple of prizes too.
I run a small and growing public Discord community. Coincidentally, it started as an among us server after I won a giveaway for Among Us when the game was at its peak.
It’s basically a chill place to meet people from around the world, play games together, watch movies, talk about random stuff and just hang out.
We play stuff like Goose Goose Duck, Among Us, Mafia, Nightreign, Fortnite and whatever else people are feeling like playing. We also do movie watch-parties, and there are quite a few One Piece fans around!
The server is completely SFW, mostly adults, very welcoming and thankfully pretty much zero toxicity. It’s still a small community and isn’t super active all the time, which is actually one of the reasons I want to start organizing more events like this. I’d love to find more awesome people who are into gaming, movies, meeting people from different places, or just chilling in VC.
So for October, I’m hosting two Spooktober events, which means two giveaways!
Event 1: Halloween Discord Bot Competition
Starting October 1, we’ll have a Halloween bot running in the server. You can collect candies, scare other people and do other Halloween stuff throughout the month.
There’ll be a leaderboard, and whoever has the highest score at the end of the event wins!
Pretty straightforward. Cause chaos. Acquire candy. Win prize.
Event 2: Horror Movie Sundays
Every Sunday in October, we’ll be streaming a horror movie together at around 2:30 PM GMT.
You get an entry by joining the watch-party, and the people who participate in the most movie nights will qualify for the final lucky draw. One winner will then be randomly picked from that group.
So even if you’re not much of a gamer, you can still join us, watch some horror movies and have a chance to win!
What can you win?
Each winner can choose one prize of their choice:
- Discord Nitro
- Letterboxd Pro
- Signalis or Outlast 1 on Steam
Both events start on October 1 and the winners will be decided after the events end on November 1.
More than anything, I’m hoping this brings together some fun people. The server is still growing and I’d really like to turn it into a vibrant little place where you can hop in, recognize people, find someone to play something with, join a movie night or just chill and talk.
If that sounds like your kind of place, you’re very welcome to join!

Hope to see some of you there, and good luck with the giveaways!
