How my new job has me feeling

Try to enjoy being a neet while you can. Working even a simple job is awful. I do aerospace assembly and it’s simple but damn is it tedious. My back and hands hurt from cutting wires all day and it’s barely Tuesday

What year did you find out that working wasn’t going to get you anywhere?

For me, I didn’t realize that our system is basically another form of slavery until like 2023. I genuinely thought hard work and not quitting would pay off. Dead wrong, employer said bye bye without so much as a hand shake after giving 12 years of my life. Leeched off my life, my youth, my prime. Got me nowhere after giving them 1/3 of my life.

What’s your ideal work situation if you could choose?

Personally I’d like to have a chill stock room job where I just hand out materials. Either that or maybe inventory control. I’d like a pretty laid back gig where I’m not under a lot of pressure and stress. Lately employers have been posting in their job listings that they offer “a fast paced working environment with plenty of overtime and weekends as needed” as if that’s a selling point.

What would be ideal for you if you would/could work?

If you don’t want to work what project do you wish you could get off the ground?

$350 of unemployment money just hit my account

Literally rich now compared to the -$30 in my account since yesterday. I need to optimize and compound these gibs with investments. Must achieve wealthy perma neet status.

Quit job of one year in June, tried two other jobs and failed. Filing for unemployment today

Had to quit my job a month ago because I was having anxiety episodes that made me feel like fainting from stress. I had to do it for my health, but in the meantime I tried to get a house cleaning job and the owners passed on me after a trial day. Then a temp agency sent me to a pan factory but it was the worst job ever on my body. I’m filing for unemployment today and hoping I can get some gibs. Either that or I hope some of my crypto investments pop off because of the clarity act or Jane street trial. It’s really hard to find a job right now, retail and fast food aren’t even hiring. It shouldn’t be this hard. Like many of you, I’m not a neet by choice, we just have different reasons
