Drilled and tapped my XRS for a thumb rest

What a nice change, had originally been looking at adding one but sucks that the XRS doesn’t have a spot for one. Drilled and tapped for an MDT thumb rest. Saw someone install one using epoxy, but I thought I’d go mechanical fastener route instead. I’m prone to dropping and breaking things. Worked out well!

O/U recommendations & store

Hey everyone!
Currently shoot trap/skeet with a beretta 686 SP, looking to upgrade.
Nothing wrong with the gun, ready to hand down to family member looking to get started.
Currently looking at around the 6-8k for budget.
Not opposed to used.
Which models would you recommend shouldering and which stores are a must to check out? Located in Ontario
