My debut album is an ambient / drone album made from sampling a 1970s country gospel record my family made

Hello,

I go by the moniker MOONSIDE and I wanted to share my debut album titled, “HYMNS OF KINSHIP” which is an ambient / drone album I made by sampling a 1970s country gospel record
my family made.

This project is part of a larger transmedia release spanning music and film. If you are interested please read the album description on my bandcamp page for more info and links.

It would mean so much if you took 25 mins to listen to this and give any feedback you see fit. Thanks!

Made a Burial style beat with stock sounds

stop falling for the propaganda and just create. i hsve millions of streams under my name and i use stock sounds. people will say anything to get you to stop moving beyond them.

i think it boils down to not being able to utilize the tools you have around you correctly

this isnt even the best example of using stock sounds and presets but i wanted to make a video on the subject and will probably continue making tracks to showcase with stock.

anyways thanks for reading / watching and hope you subscribe

My debut noise album made from sampling a 1970s country gospel gospel record my family made

I made a trans media project that consists of a double concept album I made by sampling a 1970s country gospel album my family made & a found footage horror web series titled THEE HYMNALS

The albums are titled

HYMNS OF KINSHIP & THE BLOOD WE’VE GIVEN

Ambient & Noise

Both of the albums cross into different micro genres within the two mentioned

I’ve been trying to find my audience and it would mean a great deal to me if you took 15 mins to listen to THE BLOOD WE’VE GIVEN (the noise side of the double concept release)

More info about the entirety of the project are in the album descriptions.

Any people in Charlotte into Internet Horror, Unfiction or ARG?

I was curious if anybody in the city is interested in the following mention in the title.

Would love to find some future friends with similar interests. Maybe it could start online and morph into something where there are events or meet ups to discuss / watch series together. Absolutely no pressure of course.

Feel free to drop some of your favorite series or even movies in the horror / surreal genre.

Thanks for taking the time to read this if you do and feel free to shoot me a DM if that is easier.

Sorting issue?

So I loved the option to able to select all of my tracks from the sequencer and sort them for the rack from right clicking and clicking the sort option.

Has this option disappeared or maybe I am over looking it? I am using Reason 14 by the way.

I am noticing that once you place the instruments in the sequencers you can’t move them well at-least I cant in the rack.

It’s not insanely problematic giving I can use the single rack column option now but I do love staying organized as I create

Wish there was an option so when you sort I’m the sequencer it arranges it the same for the rack and the mixer.

Any help would be great cause I could be missing something. Figured I would write it here before reaching out for support or making a ticket.

Thanks Reason Gang

hey noise heads

i made an album by resampling a 1970s country gospel record my family made through granular synthesis

it’s out on all platforms but here is my bandcamp

it’s called THE BLOOD WE’VE GIVEN

if you want to know more about the project as it’s a part of a transmedia release please read the album description

it would mean a lot if you took 15 mins to listen to the album and give your thoughts / a follow if you rock with it

FROM SCRATCH is a YouTube web series where I break down a beat I made recently.

Today is the release of the first episode and we sampled the amazing sound artist Ulla inside Reason Studios.

I’ve been using Reason since about 2008 and I credit this software for helping me build an amazing range of genres that have amassed millions of streams independently.

They have always doubted us Reason users for some reason lol

It would mean a lot if you dropped by my YouTube channel and watched the video. Drop a comment if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Justin / MOONSIDE
