I did it!! 🎉🤩

Last week I posted here asking for encouragement to help me finish this one and so many of you provided great advice and kind words.

I can say (with much satisfaction), that I’m glad I stuck it out and saw this one through. It was challenging but very fun! I mentioned in my prior post that I don’t often challenge myself when it comes to puzzling, so I didn’t really prepare myself (non-edge edge pieces?!) or alter my typical approach, which was definitely needed for this puzzle. For anyone who might see this in the future - I highly recommend sorting by roof types.

I received this puzzle as a gift and although this particular design didn’t fit my preferred puzzling aesthetic (bright colors), I can say with certainty that I will be purchasing other Magic Puzzle Company puzzles! The packaging is top notch, the piece quality is excellent, the random cut makes for fun and unpredictable assembly, the artistry is whimsical, and the magic trick at the end is such a delight!

EDIT: Thank you to everyone who responded with kind words and helpful advice! I realized I hadn’t even tried to be strategic in my approach once I realized my normal puzzling method wasn’t cutting it 🫣 Diving back in with fresh eyes and an actual game plan. Looking forward to sharing once finished. Thanks all!

Dear puzzle fam, I could really use some positive encouragement to finish the Sunny City by the Magic Puzzle Company! I received this as a gift and dove in headfirst without any research (oh the edge pieces 🥲) - it’s been fun and challenging but I feel I’m hitting a wall. I think the combination of muted tones and the wild edges and piece cut are bamboozling my brain. I don’t typically challenge myself when it comes to puzzling so this has been quite humbling.

I want to finish it though, so please share any words of encouragement!
