Planning to move to Cyprus. Honest pros and cons?

Hi everyone. I'm considering moving to Cyprus but. before I commit I have a lot of doubts of course and I'd love to hear from people who live there or run a beauty business locally.

Specifically wondering about:

  • registering a business as a foreigner
  • cost of living (rent, groceries, bills, AC in summer)
  • dealing with bureaucracy as a foreigner
  • healthcare
  • availability and cost of supplies (glue, lashes, equipment)
  • whether you can get by without Greek (of course would start learning)

Any honest experiences welcome, including the discouraging ones. Thanks.

Half lash sets - do you even offer them?

Curious how common this actually is across different markets.

Do you offer half sets as a service? Is it something clients ask for or do you have to explain what it even is?

And if you don't offer them why not? Not worth it, too complicated to price, clients don't get it?

Girls, why are you NOT entering lash competitions? I need to know

Hey💜 I judge lash competitions internationally and one thing that always surprises me is how many incredible artists never even try to compete

So I want to ask you directly:

Have you ever entered a competition? What was your experience?

If not, what's the real reason? Fear of being judged, no idea how it works, don't think your work is ready?

Do you even know what judges are actually looking for?

Would winning change anything for you, your business, your confidence?

I'm asking because I see so much talent that never makes it to the competition floor and I genuinely want to understand why💜
