It is funny how that there are influencers and people here making doom and gloom announcements about the group. The irony is that a sign that they are flopping is when these influencers stop talking about them. These influencers are still adding to their fame by keeping their name top of mind. When they can’t make money from them through views and engagement, this will be the sign that they aren’t popular. We still have 4 active subreddits dedicated to them. Fans are still asking about tickets sales. They are still in their prime and the least likely to create any serious career ending scandal.

I’ll only be worried once people stop posting here and we have one subreddit. Apathy is the truth test of their demise.

It is clear why she was cut from
The documentary. Aside from Covid, her food poisoning story would make HxG really look bad. Also, her injury was too much drama for the first episodes.
It is interesting that she is a lesbian with a girlfriend. If she joined Katseye, it might be too much for the general public. Lara is queer and Megan is Bi. They did get a LGBTQ award but still can like men. Anyway, it would be interesting how Narjess’s point of view would affect the dynamic of Katseye. After looking at her TikTok, she could have made it far if not for her injury.

With today’s barrage of content, it seems logical why they can’t talk about Manon. They released 4 interviews and had a Weverse live today. All these interviews have the same questions over and over again. If each interview had to talk about Manon, the focus would be on her and not promoting Wild. Also, it is not a good look to keep on saying they miss her. They do probably miss her. Yet, it will be disingenuous if it has to be said in every interview to appease fans. It is a game they can’t win. They’ll always be hounded why they didn’t mention her. Imagine this entire month til July that they need to address the Manon hiatus in every interview So, it is best not to feed that narrative.

They also have only 5-10 minutes to do an interview. It is not practical to keep on mentioning Manon when their first priority is the Wild EP promotion.

As for Manon, if she is taking a mental health break, I feel that it can make her guilty for always mentioning her. The decision to rest shouldn’t have pressure from the girls. If she is thinking of leaving, she needs time to distance herself from the group and reflect. So, being silent about Katseye is fine. She needs to sort things out with HxG in her own terms.

I think HxG just messed up because they posted a very vague announcement. I would be fine with the silence if things were explained better.

It sounds like a good interview but only 4 videos have been circulating: Their audition lore, Sophia saying their new music is a secret, Danny talking about training and Yoonchae gushing over cats. Was anybody there to share the other Q&A moments? How was the experience?
