okay, so my centre is 400 km away, and it isn't even from the preference list i selected. there are no direct trains or buses to that place.

i decided to call their helpline number to at least enquire.

I contacted the helpline regarding this issue, but the response I received was dismissive. she was so rude?? and she was like email kro mujhe nhi pata yesab phir she said that "everyone's centre is far. it can't be changed" respectfully, the fact that multiple students may be facing inconvenience does not make the concern less valid. students raising genuine issues should be met with clarity and professionalism rather than casual dismissal.

i genuinely request everyone to email them nest-exam@niser.ac.in about their centre complaints, maybe a mass complaint can help us.

they shouldn't get away with it?? it's been 12 hours and they still haven't responded to any emails or queries.

ps: I have no direct train or bus to the centre allotted, and it wasn't even on my preference list. also?? my friend who lives in Chattisgarh got her centre in Himachal Pradesh.

why do these institutes even ASK for preferred exam cities if they’re just gonna throw everyone into some random place anyway 😭

i selected shillong, guwahati, silchar and somehow got JORHAT?? I CALLED THE HELPLINE number and the lady was so rude. i have never talked to someone so rusted in my entire life. if im paying 1.7K, and yet they have to save their money to put everyone 400 kms away?? SERIOUSLY??

like at least pretend the preference list form means something??

what on earth is wrong with India's education system, cbse sucked my marks last year and their insane fees couldn't let me go for re-checking, neet 2025 and 2026, and now even NEST is disappointing me lmao.
