Retiring my TCB 50s after almost 5 years

Been wearing these pretty much every day for almost 5 years. Got them back in September of 2021. They've been mended so many times that the crotch area especially has become uncomfortable to wear, and the belt loops have started giving out. Also the amount of big holes has become a problem. I might still throw them on every now and then, but for now I have switched to a new pair. If you have any questions about how I've worn them, washed them or anything like that, feel free to ask in the comments.

This is pretty sad for me, since these jeans have been a part of my identity for a long time now. I wore them hard.

Santa Lucia Geisha roasted by Kielo Coffee for X Coffee Ginza

A honduran geisha that I got when visiting X Coffee in Ginza a few weeks ago. Had some trouble with this early on, and I gotta say that flatbeds and Sibarist filters don't do it justice. I tried this with my V60 and Cafec T90s after taking these pics, and the cup was much nicer. The cups I got with the sibarist filters were "heavy" and had some astringency to them. The V60 cup was clean with all the common geisha qualities, such as a flowery smell. I tasted chamomile and the cup had a bright citric acidity. The recipe is as follows: 15g/250g at 25 clicks on the C40 (slowfed) using bottled water by a local brand at 90c with Cafec T90 filters - 45g + 45g double bloom up to 1min followed by one pour up to 250g. Low agitation and a drawdown of 2:19. Really nice!
