Fighting Between Action 6, Pocket 4, or alternative
I want to get a camera for my girlfriend to capture easy, high quality video content. Something she can just start up and capture high quality video and photo stills.
She's an architect, so a lot of content will be walkthroughs of jobsites and new buildings. She also does a lot of travel recording, so something that can get good photo shots and has good low light performance.
I was leaning toward a Pocket 4 or 4 Pro. She lives in Mexico, so I think it's legal for her to pickup there, but I'm concerned it might cause issues at customs when she travels to the US. Another concern is the durability. I don't want her to be too limited on where and when she can use the camera if the weather is a little adverse.
On the alternative, I was thinking an Action 6 (much easier to acquire) with a battery handle would be a good, robust option. Would it be near equal in quality to a Pocket 4? At least close enough that the durability outweighs the added video and photo quality of a Pocket 4/4P?
Anybody has any extra input? Maybe an Ace Pro 2 or Insta360 X6 are also good options?
Thank you for any help.
