So I made a post about my floyd rose before and the strings slipping. Ive now replaced all the saddles but i have this fear of the strings pinging out. The g string had a sudden loss of tension so that doesnt help as well. What should I do?
I made a post last week about my floyd being a pain in the ass as the string kept pinging out. I was thinking it was the saddle blocks so i replaced them but then the string kept pinging out. I took a closer look at the saddle and it looks like it’s got a couple scuffs or something. I dont know if thats the culprit or not.
Heyo, i need advice on what to do with my guitar. I brought it maybe a week ago 2nd hand. Its a 2012 ESP LTD M100FM with a floyd rose special ( i know they are crap ). When i first played the guitar, one dive bomb later and the low e slipped out and shredded its self. I restrung it 2 other times and same ending. I gave up and gave it to a shop to restring but low and behold when i get it back home i tune it up and the g string pings out. Im assuming is the saddle block is worn but i have no clue since this is my first floyd. This is super annoying to me and is pushing me to sell it as my other two guitars i have, put me in better peace. I cant afford a brand new OFR or any better one than the special so i dont know what to do. (Ignore the angle of the bridge, its currently in C# D G x B E so a bit out of tune)
