Any way to adjust the factory clip-ons to make them more narrow

Hi all, proud new owner of a Continental GT650 here!

I ride to work in fairly heavy traffic and lane filter a lot. I find the clip-ons on the GT650 are just a little too wide and I often have to struggle to avoid bashing the car mirrors I filter past.

Can the factory clip-ons be adjusted to rotate a bit further towards the rider, so the grip width is narrower and I can lane filter more easily? I feel like the answer is no because I have not seen any YouTube guides or similar on how to do it, but wanted to see if anyone here has tried it.

Sell investment property to purchase better PPoR?

Hi all, got some big choices to make in the next few months and am interested in hearing people's thoughts.

My partner and I are looking to buy a house together and have shortlisted some suburbs we like and can afford ($900k - $1 mil).

We own an apartment each and we had originally planned to rent them both out. The mortgage payments on our apartments aren't massive, so with tenants they would basically break even from day one. The original plan was to allow the rental income to pay down the loans on the apartments and create increasingly positive secondary income streams for later in life.

We have been speaking to brokers and banks about loan options and borrowing capacity, and it looks like if we sell one of the apartments, we can borrow around an extra $200k (plus extract around $120k in equity from the sale after costs).

In the areas we are looking to buy our new PPoR in, an extra $200k - $300k is the difference between a townhouse and a freestanding property, or between a tired house and a nice house.

My partner has sentimental attachment to her apartment and doesn't want to sell, whereas I would be pretty happy to sell mine. Just not sure if it is a good decision or not - while having a nicer PPoR would be great, I feel like it may come at the expense of less opportunity later in life (from the absence of an extra income stream).

Anyone made a similar decision? All thoughts welcome!

Sell bike as-is or spend money to fix it up?

Hi all,

Am interested in hearing your thoughts on a decision I've been turning over for a little while now - whether to trade/sell my current bike as-is, or spend some money first to fix it up.

About 6 months ago I purchased a used mid-2000's Japanese supersport. I've always wanted to try one of these bikes, having come from owning a few middle-weight nakeds (never a screaming inline 4). The vast majority of riding I do is commuting, with some twisties and longer rides when time and the weather allows.

The bike has been great fun and I don't find it too uncomfortable for my fairly short commute, and hopping on it always gives me a great sense of occassion.

However, there's a few things wrong with this particular bike that will need some money to fix - mainly replacing el cheapo squid mods with OEM parts and I think the clutch is on the way out. In hindsight I also greatly overpaid for the bike, which has soured the ownership experience.

Since most of my riding is commuting I've been drawn to something a bit more comfortable and economical, like a Z900RS or Royal Enfield 650 (also love the classic cafe racer looks).

Unfortunateley I can't keep 2 bikes at once, so the supersport will have to go. I would definitely like to own a supersport again, just not this particular one that I purchased.

I'm leaning towards just selling the bike as-is and moving on, as I don't think spending the money to get it from 'decent' to 'great' will really affect the sale price, but interested in your thoughts?
