No applications or visitors, no interest until we came along and picked her up immediately. Soot spent her first ~3 years on the streets, then another ~3 waiting for a forever home.

We’re obsessed with our girl! Welcome home, house panther 🖤🖤🖤

My 10 year old sheltie recently got dental work done (a few weeks back). Her nose is now crackled and dry, and it was not pink at all before her surgery. We’ve had a friend who is a vet tech say she’s fine, but I’m still quite uneasy about her nose.

She’s only eating and drinking a little less than normal, but still not at the speed she previously was.

I can’t tell if I’m overreacting or if we need to make her an appointment. Advice is appreciated!

ETA - I will try balm for a couple days and see what happens. There is no issue (financial or desire wise) with going to the vet, I simply didn’t want to take an appt another pet may need more.

If it isn’t helped by balm, I’ll take her in. Thank you to those who showed grace
