MG Victory Two "Ver. Ka" - Complete!
Had a lot of fun with this kit, I practiced most of my disciplines: airbrushing, water slides, weathering.
My dosage is something like 1 MG for every 3 HGs. Off to the next build!

Brushing on Army Painter strong tone and removing with a paper towel to get some grime
So many decals on this kit, I finished off this step with another intermediate top coat of Tamiya TS-13 Clear. Next step will be some silver dry brush and Warpaints strong tone
I started applying the water slide decals I purchased online from Delpi decal ( www.delpidecal.com ).
So far I'm really pleased with the quality, the paper soaks up water evenly with a clean separation, making the whole experience consistent and quick.
Kit is mostly assembled and ready to begin adding the water slide decals I ordered from Delpi decal. The water slide decals the kit came with are great, but I'll use them just as a back up.
My favorite part of gunpla is assembly, I really like how this kit is looking as it comes together.
Sprayed Tamiya metallic silver directly on the runners for the grey pieces
Sprayed a base coat on white and blue pieces with Tamiya rattle cans:
Airbrushed a few different grey colors on select runners:
Starting to build the following kit: LM314V21 Victory Two Gundam "Ver.Ka"
I ordered some water slide decals from Delpi decal
Figured I would paint this little guy similar to the HG kit that I built and painted a while back: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/gundam/images/c/c6/HGGTO-Guncannon-Iron-Cavalry-Squadron-boxart.jpg/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/1000?cb=20210207013741

Totally avoiding the stickers that came with the kit. Ordered water slide decals off Amazon: https://a.co/d/0ae13clh
Very difficult to get these working on these round and uneven surfaces. Hope the matte top coat fixes things 😬
Planning to do some airbrushed glow effect on the blade
Base coated with black then liquid mask before airbrush. Added a bunch of random Tamiya water slide decals. Used Warpaints "Strong Tone" to pop the weathering.
