Mail order Ariya

I've seen people remark here that they had their used Ariya shipped to them from a far away dealer. In general, I have read that for used cars, you should test drive the specific car that you are planning on buying.

How did you guys mitigate risk if you bought it unseen? Was it because it was CPO? Did you ask for a battery health report or similar?

Thanks, this is an awesome community, btw !

People who bought an Ariya recently, can you please share the OTD price you paid, and the trim you bought? Were you able to negotiate off of the advertised price ?

I have been considering getting a 2023 or 2024 Ariya. From the forums, it looks like the build quality is good. However, I am concerned about a couple other aspects

  1. I have come across a couple of posts about how even a fender bender can cost thousands of dollars to fix. Anyone had any experience with repairs

  2. Is the insurance costlier than average ?

  3. Is parts availability an issue ? I read people complaining that they have to wait weeks while the car sits at the dealer waiting for parts

  4. Are you limited to the dealers to get any work done on the cars? I haven't trusted the dealers for anything other than warranty work
