Play/do not play lists.

So I had a wedding on this weekend. I was given a 10 hour dance Playlist. Now some were legit songs I would play. While others were not. Random slow songs that I for one have never played at a wedding. Others just not dancing tracks.

Brides request was to play the list unless people request songs.

So i get to the night. I play the bangers off her list. I play the requests of the night and I filled in with what flowed with the vibe we had going.

End of the night bride and groom came up to me and said I did an amazing job. Random guests said the same. Really felt good.

Was I in the wrong for going outside her playlist?

Personally I think it was a situation where they sent those cards out asking ill dance if the dj plays. I hate those lists. This 10 hour list felt like that was all over it.

New restaurants!!

This should be a drama free post....I hope.

But with the announcement of a Kettlemans Bagels opening, does anyone have any idea where its going?

Jimmy John's is going by Walmart on Arthur st.

Ive heard from a couple different sources that there is a good chance Olive Garden is going by the cleared land by Costco.

Anyone hear any realistic places opening?

So I see the posts that Utah is against the data center being built by Kevin Oleary. I see why. But and please if I'm wrong please correct me. But why not build said centers in northern canada. Its cooler there year round. We have remote communities that has access to the land. We have the water resources that could be used.

Build it like how we have mines. Use a rotating schedule 2 weeks in 2 weeks out. Make the pay really good. Build dorms and residential places and have a home away from home situation.

Is this something thought about or am I just not seeing something.
