diets & PCOS & family judgement

Recently I have been diagnosed with PCOS. Before I found out about my PCOS , I was doing the OMAD diet, I was fine doing it, obviously felt like crap as I usually would anyway just felt normal to me, and it didn't bother me because I sit in my room at my desk all day and do like 100 steps a day I don't need the extra calories. After finding out about my PCOS , I researched and found sources from people online talking about how when they ate small amounts of calories their weight didn't budge, however when they ate like 2-3 meals a day, the weight started to come off. something to do with feeding the body the energy it needs, manage insulin, stabilize blood sugar etc. this morning my dad wakes up and comes downstairs, and I tell him that i'm not going to be doing the OMAD diet anymore, because that was like somewhere around 600 calories a day or so I was having. I tell him that its important that I eat 2-3 meals a day with all the nutrients I need, not unhealthy food, but specific foods that work well for PCOS. he starts to get really snappy and tell me that i'm using PCOS as an excuse to start being a 'pig' and that I need to have one small meal a day so that I can loose weight. he kept saying that I'm wrong and that he has done more research than me and yeah I wont go into the details of the entire conversation but you get the idea. we end up in an argument in which I just ended up going back to my room as I really don't want to deal with it. now I just feel like absolute crap because I know I'm going to be judged for eating more than 1 meal constantly and its always going to cause an issue.

now obviously I am overthinking and I do feel like having 2-3 meals a day would make me a 'pig', as well because I am so used to eating 1 meal a day and not loosing any weight from it. I understand how eating more would help with PCOS in this case. I also understand that I need to do exercise, in which I do try sometimes with my treadmill but obviously finding the energy and motivation to do that is hard when some days I struggle getting out of bed, but its something I am actively trying to get better at doing.

my question is, is he right or not? do I need to continue eating a whole bunch less or would having 2-3 meals be beneficial for me in this case. I did OMAD many years ago when I was 15, I wasn't that overweight, but it worked really well. However now at 22 it just doesn't seem to be having any weight loss unsure if its due to the PCOS specifically or the fact that I don't get much exercise.

F EA and their stupid bans.

On July 15th 2024 I made an account with EA to play Apex on steam with some friends. Didn't touch the game again until yesterday my friends suggest we play. So I install the game, and then log in with my EA to be met with a screen that tells me I am perm banned. Turns out, I received a permanent ban on July 16th 2024 which is just a day after I made my account.

They said 'We observed Systems abuse in Your EA Account.'

This is incorrect, as I have never even downloaded any form of cheat in my life or done anything that is 'system abuse'. It is outrageous.

I appealed it, and explained, and they came back to me today telling me that after a review they found that the ban is correct and will stay in place. BULLSHIT.

So I got onto live chat and spoke to a human and explained the situation to them, and they told me that he cannot do anything about it, and the TOS team do a 'thorough analysis' to determine whether accounts should be banned. Well it clearly isn't a thorough analysis is it, considering I know that I have not violated any terms.

The live chat person also told me that there is no way to unlink my EA account from my steam account, and that they lock that to ensure that the ban stays in place, but it makes no sense right? Because I could easily just make a different EA account and play the games through the EA launcher instead. So why hold my steam account hostage? The only reason I can think of is that by them doing that, it means that people are more likely to just end up making a new account and purchasing the games again. Money.

So to conclude, EA is just a money grabbing company with literally no care for the customers. Also including a lack of common sense, how can you just randomly ban people with no valid reason. Ok they stated that they observed 'system abuse', but why cant they tell me exactly what system abuse I did, because I didn't abuse any system!!!

A load of bollocks.

Delete if not allowed - not sure if this is the right subreddit for this post.

I heard a noise outside (it’s 5am and it startled me) so I checked the cameras and I saw this fox. I know nothing about foxes whatsoever, but to me this foxes movements seem weird, the way it ran and kinda went into the car with its back arched up. does anyone have any idea if this is just normal behaviour for foxes?
