Getting her used to handling

2nd post about her… Long story short, she’s 5 y/o got her about a month ago from a pet sitting client that was neglecting handling her.
Trying to get her used to it.. she always locks on my face & strikes. She’s always nervous, because I have to remove her from her hide & take accessories out to even get her. She comes out at random times that I don’t see. I check morning and night. I’ve handled her several times now & it’s just non stop striking the entire time I hold her. I feel so pooped. I’ve never had a snake be this defensive for this long ughhh

Striking

She won’t stop striking at my face 😮‍💨😞 She’s never really just out and about in her enclosure, so I usually have to just remove her hide and accessories that she can wrap around to handle her. She doesn’t strike when I’m getting her out , but as soon as she’s out, she turns and locks on my face & starts striking. I wear my motorcycle helmet now 😂 idk what to do.

I’ve had her for ab a month now. She’s 5 y/o… my pet sitting client gave her to me, he doesn’t have time & hasn’t handled her in ages.

Bioactive

Does anyone have a bioactive setup? I want to do one for my bigger guy, but I can only find videos for ball pythons.
If so, let me know what you use, ratios, etc..! Thanks 🐍

A pet sitting client of mine no longer had time to care for his snakes, so I ended up taking his 2 boas and 2 ball pythons. They’re all chill, besides this big 6 year old guy. He hasn’t been handled in a while and comes to the tank doors as soon as they’re open.. ready for food. He told me that he just puts a water bottle in his face to distract him, then picks him up, but everytime I try to pick him up he hisses at me, so I just stop and leave him be. What should I do? Help!
