This might sound random, but I’ve been pretty stressed lately and realised that sitting somewhere high up overlooking Colombo sounds incredibly peaceful. If anyone has access to a rooftop with a nice city view and is open to meeting a fellow Redditor for a casual hangout, let me know. Always happy to make a new bro too. (preferably not a psychopath or a serial killer)

Hey guys, what are some cool but affordable places in Colombo (preferably around Nugegoda/Maharagama) for hosting a state uni department night? Budget around 4K per head.

It’s gonna be a dinner and DJ kinda event.

Ariyana Reach Hotel, Maharagama is what we have planned as of now. Are there better places?

My friend is planning to do the Pearson BTech HND in Computing at ANC, and wants to know the credibility and usefulness of it.

He was in a completely unrelated field prior to this, and now wants to enter the IT field. So he doesn’t have any experience or qualifications related to this. Also, he’s in his mid twenties.

Will doing this course be a good starting point?
