My faith in Eggers is so big I decided I won't watch any of the trailers. I'll go in blind for the first time in a long time. Could we set a spoiler tag rule for marketing, please? Pretty please? xD
These are paper wasps. At first this intrigued me. It reminded me of xenos blending with the walls of the hive in Aliens and the living breathing hive in Alien: Resurrection. Their abdomens look like larvae, they form a symmetrical cluster. Before you understand what it is and realize you should be running, you're mesmerized.
Now substitute those abdomens for the heads of xenos, all clustered around a queen in development. What an imagery! It's like the cocoon in Alien: Romulus or the reveal of the Queen in Aliens. I wish we got more of these moments which have the essence of Giger's art.

NECA has announced a 40th anniversary edition re-release of the Ultimate Aliens Warrior. This new release in celebration of James Cameron’s Aliens 40th anniversary sees the Alien Warrior repainted black to more closely match how the Xenomorphs were depicted on screen. The figure will be available to order via NECA’s store today and is expected to release in Q4 2026.
Ghost x Ghost has released 3 new t-shirt designs inspired by Alien and Aliens.

IMO a very underwhelming Alien Day. With so many confirmed projects on the horizon across movies, television and games, nothing too dramatic was announced. No new books or comics. Even though Isolation's teaser was pretty cool, I thought it was teasing something else that would be posted later on the same day. (I know "teasing a teaser you say?" but that was my impression).

I sent the poster to the artist and asked them to add a tentacle coming out of the water, no other notes, and this was their first draft. Amazing work! Do you guys have Black Sails/pirate themed tattoos?
Edit: Thank you all for the compliments!! Black Sails truly is an underrated show. Nobody ever recognized where the tattoo is from and since it's literally the end of the intro I believe it's pretty easy to spot if you know it.
