The Buttons on the RG SP are LAF.

I honestly never understood why Russ and other reviews harp on handhelds for having loud buttons and I have some supposedly loud handhelds like the RPC or Odin 2 Portal. It's never bothered me once but my god, the buttons on the RG SP are the most distracting thing I've ever experienced when playing a video game that isn't a child or a dog looking for attention. It's not even like they fatigue me, they feel fine, they just sound like tnt pop its every time I press something. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go find some kapton tape.

Flip 2s Have Started Shipping Again

I know the Nova has been stealing most of the attention lately but quietly in the background, the Flip 2 has been held for shipment for close to 2 months now presumably due to the 12 Gb RAM switch. Ordered June 29th, looks like they're starting to ship out all the 12 Gb Flip 2s. Confirmed others are also shipping out.

Has anyone received a 12 GB Flip 2 or RP5 yet?

I ordered a Flip 2 on June 29th and it still hasn't shipped out, presumably because of the SoC shortage they had with the SD 865. I would've figured it'd been sorted by now since they don't show out of stock or anything but support hasn't given me a clear answer on when they're shipping my order. I did modify the order slightly in July (added some accessories) since it hadn't shipped so maybe that downgraded the priority for them. I get they're busy with the Nova but it's still concerning that it hasn't even shipped yet and they can't provide me with an ECD.

Before I contact support again, just wanted to know if anyone has actually gotten hands on a 12 GB 865 unit yet. Would be good to know if this is just a me problem.

Trimui Brick MuOS USB Transfer

Yesterday I was trying to get USB transfer to work via MTP on MuOS but never got it working. I primarily chose MuOS because I heard it has good USB transfer but I was wondering if anyone got it working on the Brick?

I can hear the 'ding' when in Android Debug Bridge mode but nothing on MTP mode. tried all sorts of restarts and mode switching as recommended by AI but pretty sure it was just hallucinating. Please let me know if there's some other setting I need to set beside MTP.

The stock OS is able to connect just fine so I know it's not the hardware or a cable.

I haven't tried updating the firmware or previous versions of MuOS. Thinking about trying that.

If I can't get it working, I'll probably switch over to NextUI or Spruce if I have to use FTP. Also considering Knulli for USB.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Testing RAM limitations in GameNative?

I realize this is probably an odd question but I currently own a Odin 2 Portal Max and it's just too big and heavy to be something I take on the go.

I am thinking of picking up a Retroid Pocket 6 but would prefer to get the dpad on top since most of the games I play on the go would be dpad centric; however, I don't know if 8 gb will be enough to run the games I run on GameNative so I am wondering if there's a way for me to test if 8 gb is enough on my Portal first. If not, I would probably pick up the 12 gb stick on top model.

Let me know if anyone has any ideas on how to test this. I can see RAM usage using the performance HUD but not sure if that's a definitive way of determining if that's sufficient. Would prefer if there's a way to set a hard limit either through the app or android to see how games would react.

Any advice would be appreciated.
