How long should u wait for a band to respond to playing on your bill with you before you move on?

Booking a show a little over a month from now, like 35 days

3-band bill. I have 2 confirmed, waiting on an out-of-state act to get back to me. It’s been 2 days. I’m just curious how long do you guys wait until asking another band?

(This is like local scene Shoegaze kind of stuff)

Playing Covers In Alternate Tunings?

Getting ready for my new bands first show in a month. Have plenty of originals but a few covers. Wanted to know your guys thoughts on playing covers in alternate tunings to match your band’s sound a bit more.

All of our covers fit into our general sound so we were thinking about playing some drop C# covers in Drop C. Do bands do this often or no?

Sacrificing Comfort For cooler strap height.

my alt rock grunge/Shoegaze players. Currently I play with the body of my guitar sitting a few inches below my pecks. I wanna lower it down so that the highest point of the body is like right at or below my belly button. Not crazy low but like the “standard” low.

For anyone who’s done this and lowered strap height. Do you eventually adjust to it and it gets comfortable? Or are you just always sacrificing comfort and optimal playability?

( I know the standard answer is just play how you play, but for anyone who has done this, what was it like for you)

Need amp upgrade for small gigs (basement shows, record shops, local venues)

I currently have a black star 50w combo amp. I’m thinking that I need an 100w combo the 50w just barely keeps up. I’m not ready for a Marshall half stack yet but maybe one day. Any suggestions?

*Really only interested in solid state combo amps right now

Content (Kinda)

Any general thoughts on my board. I feel very happy about the state of it. I do have a chorus pedal that’s a Donner. Though I don’t use chorus too often i usually play the flanger maybe upgrade or should I replace chorus for something else entirely

Help me space out my pedals for gigging

I feel like the spacing is a bit akward I feel like it would be a bit difficult to stomp on the top ones live without hitting nobs on the first row. any tips or is it just how it is?
