i moved to nac about a year ago and am VERY close with my coworkers, but not so much anyone else lol. all i do is work and hang out with them.
i’m looking to build more community and make more friends! does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to what to do?

i have an incredible kitty (who is almost 9!!) who i love dearly. i moved across the country last year, and occasionally travel back home for events. normally she comes with me, but this time i was able to find a cat sitter! last time we flew it kind of stressed her out, so i felt this would be best.
last november i took her to the vet for sneezing + hairballs, and they told me she likely had feline herpes- been working on since. i took her to vet last week and they said she had a grade 2 heart murmur, and was fine but to check in if she started coughing or anything like that.
but now that i’ve done more research, i feel like she’s been coughing for a bit. i thought she was just hacking? i’m not sure. but i have to go home tomorrow and i want to know if waiting a week to take her back to the vet will be okay. she isn’t panting, her appetite is the same, she’s happy and comfortable per usual!! i’m just super anxious and i wonder if i should try to squeeze her in and also take her home after all.
