Was Hello Nasty the complete LP

So I come to this with some bias as this record was monumental in my teenage years. It came out when I was 15 and changed my life for good/the good. It's only been dawning on me recently that it may have had a bigger impact than I initially thought. Now in my 40's I'm still an absolute sucker for Hip Hop and electronic music. Although the former is obvious, I began thinking after a listen to the record today that it could have been a catalyst for the latter, at least in part.

I'm no hip hop history buff or Beastiofile which is why I've humbly come to ask here, but in my eyes and ears, this album was more than a complete package.

Beasties have always been creative and experimental and Hello Nasty is no exception, but they went another level with it. The variety of genres they played with, the sound production, the maturity and sophistication of the rapping/lyricism and the seminal nature of the whole production, for me, makes it a perfect record.

When thinking of fresh, groundbreaking players in the field, artists like RTJ, Outkast, Danny Brown spring to mind. Beastie Boys fitted that group already. I'm somewhat obsessed with Licence to Ill, in part due to it's groundbreaking nature, but alas, I was too young for it to have any personal impact in the 80's.

IMO they really pushed the envelope with Hello Nasty. Were there any other artists combining the electro and rap genres at the time and doing it well or were BB true pioneers in this and if so, who was the brains? Yauch? Mario?
