On .5 week 3 out of the norm food cravings from even before I was on Wegovy. Popping up day one and two after my third shot of .5. Shockingly haven’t gotten sick

I ’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I’m on week two of .5 and at a friend‘s birthday party yesterday I had some pizza which I was really nervous to eat because previously I would get sick if I ate anything close to junk food and I just really haven’t had that much food noise. But this past week I’ve been craving junk food in general. I’ve picked up my physical activity and workout so I know my body wants a few more calories. But this is out of the norm I actually ate some chocolate today chocolate that I’ve passed by my cupboard for well over two months and just a thought of it was repulsive. I’m just wondering if anyone else has gone through this where the food noise comes back really strong? I’m hoping it’s short-term and neither one of the foods made me sick to my surprise. I would occasionally eat junk food but it wasn’t a staple of my diet before. So I’m quite alarmed at cravings I’ve had the past few days and I’m just looking for support in the community.

Encouragement and insight

Hello all. I have been on Wegovy for a couple months now I i’m currently on .5 (I know, noob 😁) when I started the .25 the first couple of weeks the day after the injection I felt hung over so I adjusted the day that I take it to Friday evening so that I didn’t have to worry about it interfering with work. I’m currently on .5 and I’m not experiencing the hangover that I felt the first couple weeks of .25 just more nausea here and there. I do have to force myself to eat because I need protein. Drink lots of water and psyllium daily. I also have a sublingual anti-nausea medication.

I know everyone is different but my question for the group is does the nausea/fatigue stick around for the entire time you are on this drug or does it fade once you’re at your suggested dose? If so what have you done to combat that? And secondly how long does it take to start losing weight? Have any of you jumped doses? By that I mean gone from 1mg to 3mg? Not eating a lot but I’m also not able to do a whole lot more than walking due to a serious back injury. I wish I could get out for a hike, paddleboard ,kayak and do the things that I used to but I wear a back brace. The goal is for me to lose between 50 and 100 pounds but I think once I lose 50 pounds I’ll also be able to do a little bit more physically.

Ultimately I’m just a little anxious and like everyone there’s that part of me that kind of wants this instant gratification or noticeable difference. I know that’s not how weight loss works I’m just being vulnerable so please be kind about the instant gratification it’s something that I’m working on. But I wanted to hear from the community about when you started to see differences and how you’ve dealt with side effects.

NAD+ for women in their 40’s

Hello there. I am completely overwhelmed by adverts for NAD. There’s so much information out there about injectables versus patches. I was just wondering if anyone had some firsthand insight or use and recommend recommendations for women in my age group. I look young for my age I’d like to keep it that way and stay healthy I am on HRT patches. If you do have knowledge about this have you talked to your doctor about it? Just any information or advice around it would be great. Thank you in advance. I would be looking for something that helps maintain my youthful skin as well as assisting with my energy and slowing metabolism. I am currently on a GLP1 to lose some of the weight gain from a back injury. Please lead with kindness this is my first post on any group and i’m nervous asking this question.
