This misalignment grinds my gears in ways few of you can understand.

I am building/coding a Point of Sale system on my Android phone. Ask me anything.

Just like the title says; I am developing a full-stack point of sale system on my Android phone.

The tech stack is Python (Django), Alpine js, and HTMX.

It's been a wild ride and I would love to share the journey, pains, wins, and everything else with you guys.

So, ask me anything!

We know you are trying to sell to us. Stop it!

It annoys me so much when people embed the name of a product or service into a comment that doesn't require it, thinking we won't notice they are trying to sell to us.

It's fine when a poster asks for recommendations or the conversation requires it, but I am seeing this even where it's not required.

Like someone asks for referrals for a job and someone points them to a tool that tracks Reddit keywords. Really?

We know what you are trying to do and people have become more discerning. It's not working!

Instead of annoying us with your (non-working) marketing, why don't you try to be helpful or contributory for once?
