Title. Is there a guide somewhere? A good falco that mixes up his laser and approaches seems truly very difficult to beat. Is there some guide for how I should be taking lasers or some other bright ideas? Usually I can just intuit a matchup but this feels unbearable even at mid level of play.
Anyone else here just waiting for weapons to have their defensive options actually made usable again? I feel like it was so interesting for the depth of the game and having your own identity with your own weapon of choice. I'm really missing it!
Most of the block and parry and riposte changes have made defensive play harder. The best strategy now (except for very specific situations) is to just attack non-stop. What a shame! I hope Ironmace walks back a lot of this - I feel melee was in an exceptionally good spot before the wipe!

Is Longsword where it's at these days? I'd really appreciate it if you guys could share your thoughts on your favorite weapons, weapon/shield combos, and (most particularly) which weapon you think is most competitive/effective at this time for Fighter! Thanks!
