Training myself to spot the branches
Analog's worst nightmare of a flight spot lmao
slow is smooth... smooth is fast... always working on that

And of course this is my brand new drone to replace the quad I'm still working on repairing...
Guess I gotta work on my flying skills before coming back here. cool flying spot but definitely a bit riskier than I initially assumed
I've tried climbing the tree to shake the branch but it's way too high I can't reach it. I'm planning going to go back with a weight tied to a rope to try and shake it down, but I have low expectations...
I probably wont be able to fix this myself for a while as it'll take me some time to get comfortable soldering something that small but as a complete beginner to soldering, I can't tell if the pad for solder was completely ripped off along with the connector, or if the little piece I've circled is just solder itself.
The crash was pretty bad, knocked out a canopy screw I guess I didn't tighten enough on my full rebuild to replace motors and frame. Sucks for me since this was the first real flight since the rebuild and I crashed it hard within 30 seconds ;(
Is this even fixable for a complete beginner or is it time for a new FC already? I've also heard you can solder the wires directly but that sounds harder, and I'd have to redo it if I ever need to take the canopy off/change camera angle. I'm just learning to solder but I'm not good enough for such small targets yet
This is a Meteor75 Pro if that matters
the arming problem - One motor/prop sometimes doesnt spin up all the way when arming, but usually waiting a sec and disarming/arming again fixes it in the moment. then problems with powerlooping started after putting replacing props for the first time. 99% of the time it flies perfect, only every other power loop/matty flip it seems to want to roll left and stop all the motors which drops me out of the sky. Makes me way more scared than I should be to do the easiest trick in the book :/ This isnt crash detection I dont think because I dont think that's on by default?
I assume is motor issues as this thing has landed crashed in lots of gravel and dirt. I've had to get detritus out of the motors more times than I would like in the month I've had my first quad but I'm definitely hooked on this hobby lol - Eventually I'll have to decide whether i go up in size or go down and get an Air65 for the next one...
Anyone know what I can do to fix these issues?
I ordered a full setup over a month ago, Meteor75 Pro, Radiomaster Pocket and skyzone cobra SD. The goggles have a DC in port which can use 2s LiPos, maybe thats why I was sent this? But I got everything 2 weeks ago and the goggles weren't shown to come with a battery. nothing was advertised to come with a battery like this. The Cobras came with an XT60 connector to DC but this battery is an XT30 and I have no way to charge/balance it.
I just got into the hobby and only planned on flying tinywhoops for the forseeable future, is there anything I can use this thing for to make it useful? If I do get a 2S drone eventually, are there any specific ones I should look at to use this battery in the future?
