I find my v6+ will freeze once a week and I need to power cycle it. By freeze I mean unresponsive to remote commands. Restarting gets it all back every time. Is this unusual? I even looked in menus to see if I could get it to reboot itself at night but there is nothing like that. If they were powered by poe I could have my ubiquiti switch do this but that's not an option either. Any way to fix this? This has happened over multiple updates, though seems more frequent in the past month.

About a year and a half ago, I bought 4x2GB ram sticks to upgrade ram in my ds718. I really had no reason to, but for $20 I was like ok lets give it a go. I had stability issues with them, and eventually just went back to 2GB since I had no real reason for the upgrade.

However, I just tried running immich, and it apparently does need more than 2GB of RAM. So I attempted again, and now the box wouldn't even boot when I put the 4GB sticks in, I tried 2x4, just the one 4, and one 2 and one 4, and no configuration would get the box to boot. I see that on the Synology stick, its DDR3 1866mhz CL13, and the sticks I bought were 1600mhz, CL11

Could this be the source of the instability? I am loathe to throw more good money after bad, since now the same two sticks look like they will cost $50+, for an aging NAS system, but if this is the reason why, I could be game. I thought going with 1600 would actually make things more likely to work, even if I gave up some theoretical performance.

If anyone could link the exact sticks you used that worked in a 718+ that would be great- or maybe there is something I can tweak in settings to get these to work stably- but I searched the internet, nothing came up.

So I ordered a new water tank for my Jura J6- it was damaged after shipping out for refurb with the BrewGroupTX- and Jura-parts.com came up when I searched and I ordered. It arrived yesterday with massive crack in the side, it does not even fit properly in my J6, and now there is zero way to contact them- their chat link is deactivated, they won't pick up the phone- I have been calling all morning. There is no link to email them either.

Anyone else had this problem? Or found a way to get to a human there? It seems my only recourse is to get a chargeback on my credit card or drive out to PA.
