Dragon quest 8 HD texture pack only loading UI textures and nothing else

So I just downloaded the HD texture pack for dragon quest 8 and was trying to get it to work I've changed all of the settings and made sure my texture replacement directory is correct and it still only replaces the UI textures

How do I fix duplicated games in menu, or if I can't which ones do i use?

I was setting up some games and noticed I had duplicates I've also shared pics of the games in their sub folders in the game directory all other multi disc games have a .m3u folder as well
