On two separate occasions travelling north bound across the queensway around cliff road, There was a young boy crossing at an intersection against the light. First last Friday around 6pm then again today around 8pm. Im pretty sure it was the same kid, maybe not. This time on a bike with a smaller kid on a non-motorized scooter and before with a scooter by themselves.

One shouldn’t have to explain that the queensway in the area is a 6 lane road with speeds upwards of 60kh. No one should be jaywalking, let alone kids unsupervised. If you have kids in this area and let them scoot around by themselves it’s time to have a chat. There are more than enough fatalities on our roads, we don’t need any more

Hi all! So as the headline says I’m starting this biologic tomorrow, and I’m incredibly nervous. I will be going to a clinic for the first few weeks until I’m comfortable injecting myself as my hands are just not it, and well, this is daunting.

It’s been a long time coming as my condition deteriorates rapidly, I am currently on steroids until, hopefully, this starts working.

The thing I am most afraid of is how my body will react, I am hypersensitive to most things but rarely come out unscathed by side effects. I’ve opted to make Friday my injection day to help overcome any symptoms at home with little demand of the work week

I guess what I’m asking is how is everyone tolerating this? What are some unpleasant side effects you’ve had to deal with and did they go away? Those of you who switch from methotrexate to this and had bad experiences on mtx did you find this better?

Please any and all bad experiences welcome and advice you may have is needed! I want to hear it all! Thanks guys!

Hi, so this go around I’m on a 2 month taper of prednisone starting at 20 mg. It’s been almost a week and I have the weirdest sensation in my booty hole, like kind of a mild numbness but mostly tingling that makes me very aware of my butt at all times. Has anyone else experienced this? Last time I was on prednisone I had really bad diarrhea which my doc said was not from the prednisone. This time I’m not experiencing that, but this?!?! Anyone else? I know this is gross and probably tmi, but we’re all family right? 😂😭
