Itinerary advice – what time should I leave Seoul for Gyeongju and Gyeongju for Busan?

Hi everyone! EU couple 35yo, we're planning first trip to South Korea in November and would love some advice on the timing of my transfers.

Our itinerary is:

  • Nov 5: arriving Seoul late at airport at10pm (just reach hotel then go sleeping)
  • Nov 6: Seoul
  • Nov 7: Seoul
  • Nov 8: Seoul
  • Nov 9: Seoul
  • Nov 10: Seoul → Gyeongju
  • Nov 11: Gyeongju
  • Nov 12: Gyeongju → Busan
  • Nov 12–14: Busan
  • Nov 14: Ferry from Busan to Fukuoka (boarding time h 6-8 pm) --> we back home from Fukuoka a couple days later

I’m trying to decide what time would be best to leave on the two travel days. I unfortunately have not 1-2 additional days to allocate to Seoul or Busan.

November 10 – Seoul → Gyeongju:
What time would you recommend leaving Seoul? Would you go early in the morning (e.g. around 7–8 AM) to have most of the day in Gyeongju or is there a reason to leave later (e.g. I need more days in Seoul)?

November 12 – Gyeongju → Busan:
Since the journey is much shorter, would you recommend leaving in the morning (e.g. 9–10 AM) and spending most of the day in Busan or taking it easy in Gyeongju and leaving later?

I’ll have luggage with me, so I’d also appreciate any advice on lockers in Busan for the last day, or whether there’s a particularly convenient train/bus time.

Thanks!

parking in nagasaki, how does it work here?

https://preview.redd.it/m0f0ilbabrjh1.png?width=1681&format=png&auto=webp&s=65e8d979e021f023006f7007ee00bdf6e5c7fa43

Hi, i'm going to park in nagasaki here for 36 hours (consecutive). How does it work?

- should I exit after 24h and enter again for the 12h left or can I just stay all the time long until I go?
- Is the parking usually cash-only or does it accept VISA/Mastercard?
- I will pay 2800 yen max or are there other taxes?
- What the yellow areas are for?
- Shall I park there for the long term parking?
- Or should I use the white stripes areas with numbers?

thanks

ryokan advice - shill me the best ryokan for getting a bath with autumn foliage landscape !

Hi everyone!

We’re an EU couple planning to travel around Kyushu by car from November 14–24. We’ve both been to Japan twice in the past few years but this will be our first time exploring Kyushu.

We’re looking for recommendations for a really great ryokan that ideally has all the following features:

  • Immersed into beautiful autumn foliage, visible from the outdoor bathing area
  • Mixed-gender baths (or alternatively a really large private natural stone onsen - must be within the set budget)
  • Fish and/or vegetarian options for the kaiseki/set menu - we’re not looking for places where the only alternatives are only pork or beef
  • Tattoo-friendly: my partner has a small black tattoo (about 5 × 4 cm) on her wrist. She’s happy to use a covering sticker if required
  • Budget: under $400 USD per night (total)

We’ve already found a few options, but we have a feeling we’re missing some amazing ones.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Especially interested in places with spectacular scenery and a memorable onsen experience.

Thanks in advance!

Busan - Fukuoka overnight ferry questions about luggages siz and bed size

hi i'm going to take the ferry in november. I'm quite tall and I'd like to understand how large are beds in the 等寝台 インターネット割引運賃 ECONOMY BED Internet discount option (guess it's the 2nd class room with sleepers and curtains).
Additionally, there is space for luggage under the bed: what are the size of the luggages allowed? thanks

help me please allocate days for the trip in SouthKorea Kyushu and Taipei

hi everyone I'm going to travel in S. Korea, Kyushu and Taipei in November. Gonna land 5th 10pm in Seoul, got departure on 29th from Taipei 5pm. I'll be taking the ferry from Busan to Fukuoka and rent a car for the kyushu ring and have the flight for Taipei on 24th evening. I'm kinda worried of how many days allocating to SK and Kyushu, for i only had these days and I know they deserve more each. Depending on when I book the ferry I can give before or after +1/2 or - 1/2 days to Korea or Kyushu. I will have 9 days on average each, which sounds too little unfortunately. First time in Korea, been twice in Japan and twice in China mainland (this to say I'm already used to Asian countries). What do you recommend?

My plan:

Seoul 3 nights

Andong 1 night

Geongyu 1 night

Busan 3 nights

Fukuoka 2 nights

Nagasaki 1 night

Kumamoto 1 night

Kagoshima 1 night

Takachiho 1 night (through Miyazaki)

Beppu 1 night (passing through Aso and milk Road)

Fukuoka -> directly at airport at 3pm to fly out

Taipei -> main base in the city, gonna take 1 or 2 day trips

is this doable? am I missing something important? am I rushing too much? I am quite used to battle itineraries (we are a young couple) but I would absolutely appreciate if it can be relaxed in some way by cutting redundancies. Thanks

Tassazione ETF obbligazionario? Software semplice per il calcolo?

prendiamo ad esempio
Ishares Eu Govt Bond 1-3yr Ucits Etf Acc IE00B3VTMJ91

la tassazione sul rendimento è al 12.5% o al 26%?

Suppongo dipenda dalla % di composizione di paesi whitelisted. Esiste un calcolatore?

We'd like to visit South Korea in September | October | November, have 20-25 days so like to pair another destination in the itinerary. Already been in Japan twice visiting chugoku, shikoku, kanto and kansai. Also visited already China mainland twice, HK, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia.

What would you recommend between visiting Taiwan and Kyushu? Any other option to pair with SK?

vendita immobile: dopo quanto tempo senza proposte dovrei preoccuparmi?

hi everyone, I have got 3.5 tb of data I want to backup in three copies. Most of it is personal data (B) and family data(A), while about 0.5 tb is made of business data I want to be the only one to be able to access it (C). I currently own 1x 2tb HDD, 1x 4tb HDD, 2x 16 tb HDD.

The plan was to keep the two 16tb as the growing archive mirrored, while the 4tb HDD acts as recovery copy up to 2026. I could just use Bitlocker on all three, but that would limit the versatility of use as I may need to access the data from different computers.

veracrypt would be ok, but I feel terrifyimg that the disk looks to be formatted (me or someone else may format the disk without knowing of the encryption).

Issues: I want my family to be able to access A data but not B and C, while no one else outside family should access anything at all

- if I use full disk encryption with veracrypt: I have kids around that could plug in the disks and format it while I’m not at home, if they see the "you must format to use". Additionally, I don’t want to make the disk look private.

- if I use containers with veracrypt: I would require to create multiple containers A, B, C which give me headaches to have to remember that many passwords, I would like easiness of use

- I feel the solution Bitlocker for the whole volume + one Veracrypt container for B and C data could work, but it has got these problems: - layered encryption, - rigidity of use, -hard to dynamically adjust as data grows in space required

What to do ? Should I just buy a safe instead?
