Happy Independence Day, I know I enjoyed it

Well, the time has come. After over 3 years, I’ve officially been promoted to customer this July 4th. Quite poetic really. I am genuinely surprised by how long I stayed with the company but good riddance. This company has done nothing but obliterate my mental health and dignity. I will definitely miss my team (not you GM) but the constant favoritism, pressure, being taken advantage of, corrupt management was too much.

If you’re looking to apply here… don’t. Run as far away as you can and don’t look back. This company isn’t lasting for much longer anyways and they sure as heck don’t care about you. A coworker can literally disrespect and touch you inappropriately and HR/Managers won’t do a single thing.

So farewell. I know I won’t miss it.

Sued

I just got served court papers to appear virtually for a Pretrial conference in a couple months due to an unpaid balance. I’m completely out of my element and I have no idea how to navigate this. I’ve never been to court or been in that environment before. The balance is about 1800$, unfortunately that’s not an amount I can just pay outright. I did just get just get a new job that pays better but that’s still a little bit over min wage. Is there a number or a way I can avoid going to court in general and settle this beforehand? I can’t afford an attorney or legal counsel. Is there a way I can avoid wage garnishment as well?

Print Lead?

Hey! I just have a compensation question. I’m up for a print production lead position at a staples store (an employee I know says it’s pretty busy in their department) but I’m hesitant. What’s the average hourly for that position? The store is in the Southeast region. I’m up for a raise where I currently work (no clue as to the amount but possibly 15-16) and if I do go with the staples position it will be a commute of 30 min with tolls whereas my current job is 5-7 min away with no tolls. I want to make sure it’s worth it. And before the comments come in to find somewhere else… I work at Office Depot. Anything is better than there let’s be real.

Hey! I have some artwork I’ve been wanting to print out that has great photo quality. My current printer is an HP Envy 6055 which has been good but recently I’ve been getting lines on my photos even though I’ve changed the ink and done all that. But I do want to upgrade to a better printer for photos but still being more budget friendly (preferably no more that 300$) I don’t need the most fancy, I’m not doing thatttt many prints that would warrant a nicer quality one. Also extremely tired of HP printing in general. Mainly asking here cause when I look up online I genuinely cannot tell sometimes if what I’m seeing is just an undisclosed ad 😭

Thank you in advance!
