Starlink Drama. Delhi remotemen has been controlling what comes , stays & goes out of NE. The profits that would have majorly stayed in Northeast , cuz of bullies would now go to Mumbai, Delhi. Saw some recent news of MEGHALAYA SIGNED FOR STARLINK

For nearly two years, Jio and Airtel fought tooth and nail to block Starlink. Their public argument? "Level playing field." They demanded Starlink pay auction fees just like telcos do. Basically they wanted Musk to lick their a**holes.

Musk called this "unprecedented." In 2004 he even tweeted and mocked fatso-bani “I will call and ask if it would not be too much trouble to allow Starlink to compete to provide Internet services to the people of India.”

Privately, almost everyone knew the real reason: Starlink would bypass their towers and fiber. It threatened their monopoly in remote areas , including large parts of the Northeast.

Phase 2: Sudden Silence (Late 2024)

Behind closed doors, something changed. Government made it clear: satellite spectrum would be allocated administratively. The auction fight was lost. Jio and Airtel negotiated something else instead.

Phase 3: The 48-Hour Flip (March 2025)

March 11: Airtel announces Starlink partnership.
March 12: Jio announces Starlink partnership.

In Axomiya we have a term “Dalal”. Yeah these fatso’s are those.

They secured a deal to become Starlink's distributors. Now, they will earn commissions on every Starlink connection sold in the Northeast.

Phase 4: Who is the actual victim here?????

Here is what that partnership actually killed.

Before Jio and Airtel forced themselves, the natural path for Starlink in the Northeast would have been to partner with local ISPs firms like:

· S.S. Netcom (NEline) , Northeast's first private ISP, operational since 1999
· Yolut Broadband , Shillong-based, incorporated in 2019
· Sky Broadband Services . Local presence in Dhankheti, Shillong

These are the companies that built internet access in the Northeast from scratch. They should have been the ones handling installation, billing, and support for Starlink in Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, and beyond.

NE a region where we need momentum, these interjections nips any new growths in the bud.

Mongoloid vs Mongolian: A Common Misconception Among Mizo

There’s a misconception among many Mizo people regarding the term “Mongolian.”

it’s important to distinguish:

  • “Mongoloid”  racial classification (outdated and scientifically invalid).
  • “Mongolian”  a nationality or to the ethnic groups of Mongolia.

A common assumption is that Mizo people are directly related to Mongolians (i.e., the Mongol ethnic group). However, genetic evidence does not support this.

Mizo populations are predominantly associated with Haplogroup O, particularly O2-M122, which is characteristic of Sino-Tibetan speaking populations.

This lineage is found at high frequencies among Han Chinese populations and is largely absent among Mongolic groups.

In contrast, the defining paternal lineage of Mongolic-speaking populations is Haplogroup C2-M217, which is not observed among Mizo populations.

 In summary,
Mizo paternal ancestry is primarily linked to East Asian Sino-Tibetan lineages (Haplogroup O, including O-M122 and O-M134), rather than to Mongolic ancestry.

Notably,
O2-M122 is the most common paternal lineage in China, comprising roughly 50–60% of Han Chinese populations.
