Two weeks with my camera, Crater Lake on the Solstice

Happy Solstice 🌞
So glad I decided to buy this camera! New to Lightroom but I’m enjoying learning how to use it.

Pleased as punch. First day with my Z fc.

I am brand new to manual settings (been watching a lot of YouTube videos) and I’m just really happy with my first day with this camera. I added some film simulations using Lightroom (also new to me). I’m excited to get out there to take more photos today.

NIKKOR Z DX 50-250mm vs 18-140mm

Do you have a preference? I think I am going to purchase the 16-50mm kit. I'm new to this but want to do a better job capturing mountains and big things during my travels.

Shelter donation ideas?

I have some women’s personal care products (hair care, skin care, lotions, etc) that I have not used or are barely used that I’d like to donate. After some googling I didn’t really find much. Does anyone have a recommendation for donating these types of items? Thanks for the info!

Dog nibbled on something with powdery substance in it

My dog nibbled on something that had a powdery substance in it on the street. If it was something illicit when would I see an onset of symptoms? I literally have no idea what these things look like. It’s been nearly an hour and she seems perfectly fine. Eating/drinking/playing as usual.

Edit: she’s an 18 lb chihuahua mix, ten months old

Affordable vet options for cherry eye surgery

My dog needs surgery for cherry eye (both eyes) and I’m wondering about local options for her. I’m balancing affordability with great care. I’d rather go somewhere they’ll do a great job vs the cheapest place. Just trying to get some options and hear about people experiences with this particular surgery. Thanks for the info!

Hello! I was wondering what kind of language people use in their listings so the artist can retain the right to the image (able to make prints with the image later). I've been poking around listings and haven't seen anything specific. Just curious about how people handle it. Thanks for the info!
