Chased the short-story’s ghost as far as current silicon allows. The airframes run larger in the vid; variable scale from 1/128 micro to full 1/1 footprint in headset. Apologies, I lacked a neon-faded, smoke-stained pool hall for backdrop. Your Blue Max awaits.
I realized during the 5,823rd listen of Spirit of Radio, that at ~3.35 the rapidly-descending rift simulates "spinning the dial" on an old radio set and tuning-in new stations/songs. Hence, the sudden musical shift to reggae, 60s cry-baby guitar solo, boogie-woogie piano pounding, etc. Embarrassed it took me this long to notice!
