I've purchased 3 other 5 string basses before from a cheap LTD PJ bass to an Ibanez BTB745 (which i really wanted to like) but there would be playability issues with all 3 that had me return them. Recently got a Sire V5R and was impressed by the quality for price so thought I'd give another 5er a go (and this time with a 35" scale!) and landed on this. So far it plays and sounds amazing right out of the box. I may need to raise the high side of the pickups a smidge, but other than that, it's damn near perfect.

Been waiting all week for this to come from Sweetwater. Just got my Electric Mistress yesterday and now this today. Been a good week (: happy almost weekend, all!

Just got this guy in today after finding a great deal on a used one on ebay even though it arrived seemingly sealed in a plastic bag with instructions/warranty info within the original box along with the power supply. It sounds so much better than the joyo chorus I was using and ive actually never had a Flanger pedal before so it'll be fun experimenting with some different sounds. Also will play some The Cure songs obviously

Have been wanting a decent tremolo pedal for a bit, but i also wasn't looking for anything too in depth so imagine my surprise when I see that somehow I have a $30 off reward from Guitar Center and saw these pedals were about $32 so after paying $7 after the coupon and waiting a few days I got this guy. So far i really dig the warm sound of the tremolo compared to some other pedals I've had in the past. Glad to have found out about this pedal. They have another tremolo around the same price, but I liked the sound of the Choka better.

I always loved the Rat distortion pedal so when I heard the Life Pedal, I thought it sounded like the ultimate version of what I wanted a Rat to be so I had to have it. I'm not even familiar with the artist(s) Sunn O))), but the Pedal sounds heavenly in a super saturated, sludgey way. Also as a bonus I finally got myself a decent power supply for my pedals so I can get rid of my sketchy Joyo one that is getting way too noisy for a supposed "isolated" power supply.
