How genuine was my iPhone and box?

How genuine was my iPhone and box?

Greetings to everybody. Recently I had bought an iPhone 17 for a reasonably good price of 760€ in discount, marketed as new, now that should make me suspicious from the get go. It was marketed as an EU phone (since I’m in the EU) but I ended up receiving an imported Indian phone which bore BIS certification (the store marketed both EU and Indian spec iPhones).

Anyways I’ve already sent it back and asked for a replacement which they’ve agreed to and I’m on the verge of disputing the charge cause I have no trust in them lol but one thing I’ve noticed on the box that I got was that the label was crooked (see picture) and that the encircled hydrographic seal was visible when taking a photo of the box under sunlight (but not visible with the naked eye, or a picture not under sunlight or while using flash.

I probably got scammed big time but the phone’s IMEI and serial matched the box and the serial came up as not activated yet on apples coverage website. How probable it is that this was a re-seal?

In any case, feel free to laugh at my mistake and I’m hoping my idiocy makes someones day lmao

Speaker quality on a new iPhone 17

I recently upgraded from an iPhone 11 (which was nearing its end lol), and the phone is beautiful, it performs great and the upgrade was well worth it. What I noticed tho, is that when it’s on full volume (or 80% and more) the bottom speaker sounds like a membrane is oscillating (which just could be it), and the top speaker kind of sounds more “shallow” on phone calls, it might just be my imagination or the iPhone 11 sounded more “deep”. Also on haptics, sometimes it feels like they’re “springy”, like the vibration springs through the chassis. Has anyone else noticed those?

As far as limited warranty goes, I don’t know if they’ll cover it since I had ordered an EU spec iPhone and they sent me an Indian spec (with an HN serial, although it’s the A3520 model everywhere except the Americas and some other countries), purchased through a retailer in my country, so I don’t know if they’ll cover it, might been my bad for not returning it and demanding what I originally ordered
