So I just did a test for a gift for my nephew and what I thought was just residue turned out to be a weak engraving /lines between the actual design to be engraved and the other lines to be scored. It's as if the laser never fully turned off and just increased power where it was supposed to be on.
Any troubleshooting would be appreciated
So I just had a conversation with the meta rep. Before anyone tells me they don't know what they're talking about and they're useless, I have had conversations with them before and they generally don't provide much help. The rep I was talking to today did make one suggestion saying that it might be worth trying lookalike audiences.
I'm going to give it a try as I had used them a lot in the past before the iOS 14 update. After the update I didn't need to use them because meta's new targeting seem to be working well, but the meta agent suggested using it again.
I don't know if it's actually going to help, it may not make a difference.
For the record I've been running my brands for seven and a half years, I've been through plenty of up and downs with meta, and gone through several major changes to their systems.
I tend to be a big believer that when stuff like the recent performance drops everyone seeing is something you just need to survive until meta figures it out, but it doesn't mean it's not important to try to figure out how to best use meta's systems when they make these changes.
Feel free to try look alike audiences if you're not doing it already and report back here. I'll try to do the same.
