I’m trying to understand my situation better and whether my reaction to it is normal.
I live in an environment where I don’t really feel like I have control over my own life. Even small decisions or saying something that is seen as “wrong” or “offensive” can lead to shouting, humiliation, or sometimes physical punishment (like being slapped)(12th pass this yr btw). This has been happening since childhood, so it’s not something new for me.
Because of this, I’ve grown up feeling very anxious and cautious about expressing myself. I often feel like I have to think twice before speaking or making decisions. I also have a lot of past memories of physical punishment and emotional criticism that still affect me.
Right now, I feel overwhelmed and stuck. I struggle with studying and focusing, I procrastinate a lot, and my mental health feels worse recently. I also deal with maladaptive daydreaming, where I mentally escape reality for long periods without realizing it.
I don’t really have a strong support system or close friends to talk to about this, so I’m trying to get outside perspectives. I want to understand if what I’m experiencing is something others have gone through and how people usually deal with it.
Also I didn't score well in Cuet 560/1000 nd in ipu bba 48xx rank idk if a good college is possible
