An entire team of developers came together and thought "yes, this is exactly what Street Fighter 6 needs." A projectile that BOUNCES UP AND HITS FOR A SECOND TIME. It's not like you even need to spend drive meter to get that ability since you can literally just hold down the button. It wins you neutral (if the enemy doesnt have their own projectile), it gives you braindead meaty, it files your taxes, it gives braindead pressure, it does literally everything.
If you're on the receiving end of this fucking thing you WILL NOT jump, you WILL NOT block, you WILL NOT throw, you WILL NOT shimmy, you WILL NOT counter attack, you WILL NOT parry, you WILL NOT drive impact, you WILL NOT use any kind of reversal. You WILL sit there like a good little cuck and get absolutely dumpstered no matter what you do because Mai has 10,000 years to react to whatever you're gonna do in response to the second hit. Mai will put you into two consecutive strike-throw mixes with ONE projectile.
I would call this move a spawn of Satan but I'm pretty sure even he shutters at the thought of Mai fan. Mosquitoes wish they could cause as much suffering to the human race as Mai fan.
