a question about Heaven officials

Heaven officials fade away when people forget about them but i remember that in the celestial realm there are retired officials, so these gods will cease to exist by their own choice?

There are also officials from the middle court who are still waiting for their tribulation...how do they survive? Only with cultivation?

Since gods disappears when they are forgotten, it means that as long as 1 person knows about that god's existence, that god won't disappear?

[S1-EP2] About that scene where Wei Wuxian literally dug his own pit and jumped in

i have to compliment the voice actor for the moment he says "Hěn hǎo". It nailed Lan Zhan's emotional state in that moment.

Poor Hanguang-jun just recovered from the Flute melody and gets to hear that Mo xuanyu/WWX liked him and wanted to go with him...i can feel Lan Wangji's hurry to drag WWX to Cloud Recesses. Even if WWX was spouting nonsense, no way Lan Wangji was going to let this chance slip away.

I often think that in these 16 years, Lan Zhan created many scenarios in his mind about "how to deal with troublemakers" and "i should've reacted like this/i should've said this line"
