I'm trying to plan summer holidays for my family, with plans to visit in early August. A friend recommended we spend a few days in Leiden. It looks very charming and I'm excited to include it in our plans. We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids ages 10 & 12).
Looking for something central, 4 or 5 star. Any suggestions welcomed.

Going to spend some time in Holland this August. Our last stop is Amsterdam for a few days before we fly back home. We have 2 kids (ages 10 and 12). Deciding between the Sofitel and the Dylan hotel. (Or if there's a better choice I'm happy to take suggestions.) If you've stayed at either I'd love to hear your thoughts. We've stayed at larger hotels in the past as well as smaller boutique options. Room size isn't important as we don't plan to spend much time in there. We prefer a location that isn't too far off the beaten path. And good/attentive service is key. Thanks in advance.
